Related to the role public monuments have played in the 20th century in reminding followers of their political object of desire, and of sustaining and promoting authoritarian power and the leader-follower relationship, in this series of mock proposals for a public park space in Brockport, NY I imagine how a public space might be transformed into a symbol of authoritarian power.
